LifeFlight Cessna 680 Citation Sovereign Bizjet VH-VPL Pops into Mackay Airport
Very late on Saturday 14 October, LifeFlight Cessna 680 Citation Sovereign bizjet VH-VPL popped into Mackay Airport, from Townsville. It had earlier looked to 'position' from its Gold Coast base to Townsville before flying into Mackay Airport.
Then after midnight now on Sunday 15 October, VH-VPL departed Mackay Airport for Brisbane on what looked to be a medical evacuation flight. It was heard using the radio callsign of "Ambulance 680".
