New(ish) Virgin Australia Boeing B737-800 VH-YFZ Calls into Proserpine (Whitsunday Coast) Airport on First Visit to CQ

On Monday 2 October, Virgin Australia's newest Boeing B737-800 VH-YFZ made its first visit into Central Queensland touching down at Proserpine (Whitsunday Coast) Airport on the scheduled VOZ1117/1118 service from and back to Brisbane.

VH-YFZ at Adelaide Airport over the weekend.

As mentioned in a Blog post below, VH-YFZ is the second-to-last newly delivered Boeing B737-800 for the airline having arrived into Brisbane in early September.  It entered service on Thursday 14 September and this is its first visit into CQ since then.

VH-YFZ has been noted wearing the name 'Lake St. Clair'.

Of interest, Virgin Australia has also recently taken delivery and commenced operating its latest B737-800 VH-YWA (see Blog post HERE) with another B737-800 registered VH-YWD soon to follow from the Boeing factory.
