Alliance Airlines Fokker F-70 VH-QQX Pops into Hamilton Island Airport on a Charter

On Saturday 24 February, it was interesting to note that Alliance Airlines Fokker F-70 VH-QQX popped into Hamilton Island Airport on what looked to be a closed charter flight.

VH-QQX originally departed Cairns to Ayers Rock before it then called into Hamilton Island Airport.  From Hamo, it then departed back to Cairns.

UPDATE!  On Tuesday 27 February, fellow Alliance Airlines Fokker F-70 VH-QQY was also noted visiting Hamilton Island Airport on a similar closed charter.  It flew into from Cairns and departed to Sydney before eventually returning to Cairns.
