Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Airbus A330-200 / KC-30A Multi Role Tanker Transport (MRTT) A39-002 Missed Approach at Rockhampton Airport

Rounding a week of visits off by the type, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Airbus A330-200 / KC-30A Multi Role Tanker Transport (MRTT) A39-002 was noted completing a missed approach at Rockhampton Airport on Friday 10 January.

As has happened most days this week, the KC-30A departed RAAF Base Amberley and flew to Townsville where it landed for a short time.  A39-002 then returned to Amberley via the missed approach at Rocky.

As with all the other flights this week, A39-002 was heard to be using the radio callsign of "Dragon 10".
