Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Alenia C-27J Spartan Transport Aircraft A34-010 "Wallaby 61" Calls into Rockhampton Airport - Plus More!

During the late afternoon on Tuesday 23 May, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Alenia C-27J Spartan transport aircraft A34-010 was spotted arriving into Rockhampton Airport.  It was flying as "Wallaby 61" and flew down from the Smauel Hill Airfield within the Shoalwater Bay Training Area (SWBTA) having earlier flown up from RAAF Base Amberley.

The Spartan then departed back to Samuel Hill Airfield before returning to Amberly.

As posted below, A34-010 "Wallaby 61" has visited the Shoalwater Bay Training Area each day since Sunday from and back to Amberley, presumably ferrying personnel and equipment into the Training Area ahead from upcoming military exercises.

Meanwhile, also on Tuesday 23 May, RAAF Boeing B737-7ES / E-7A Wedgetail Airborne Early Warning & Control (AEW&C) aircraft A30-005 as "Wedgetail 25" flew up from RAAF Base Williamtown to complete a missed approach at Gladstone Airport before then heading back South.
