Helicorp (Australian Army) Leonardo (Agusta) AW139 Helicopter VH-YQC "Rescue 902" Ferries into the Shoalwater Bay Training Area (SWBTA)

On Wednesday 7 August, Helicorp (Australian Army) Leonardo (Agusta) AW139 helicopter VH-YQC as "Rescue 902" was noted arriving into the Glen Airfield withing the Shoalwater Bay Training Area (SWBTA) after completing a ferry flight all the way over from the Northern Territory.

It arrived from Mount Isa and Hughenden after starting at Robertson Barracks in Darwin the previous day.

It is believed that there is an Australian Army training exercise on within the Shoalwater Bay Training Area so VH-YQC "Rescue 902" is no doubt on site to provide aero-medical support.

Meanwhile, also on Wednesday 7 August, Victoria based A Kube Aviation Cessna T210N VH-KUA flew up from Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) Airport to the Whitsunday Airport at Shute Harbour and Townsville.
