New Brescon Beech B300 Super King Air VH-WXS Calls into the Labona Station Airstrip at the Carmichael Mine Site - Plus More!

On Thursday 8 August, and for the first time that we have noted in the region, new Brescon Beech B300 Super King Air VH-WXS visited the Labona Station Airstrip within Adani Australia's (Bravus Mining & Resources) Carmichael Coal Mine site from its Toowoomba-Wellcamp base via Archerfield.

Of interest, VH-WXS was registered in May this year but was ferried to Australia in April 2023 to Toowoomba (City Airport) wearing its Pilipino registration marking of RP-C1728.  

VH-WXS also looked to make a visit to Roma Airport on mid-July.

While FKG Air (Redjet Aviation) Hawker Beechcraft B200GT VH-FKB arrived into Rockhampton Airport from Toowoomba and then departed to Chinchilla and then back to Toowoomba. 

And Austrek Aviation Cessna 310R VH-DZU landed at Moura Aerodrome from Toowoomba then departed to Archerfield and back to Toowoomba. 

Finally, late on Thursday 8 August, a pair of Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Alenia C-27J Spartan transport aircraft were noted completing airwork around the Southern Downs parts of the state.  A34-001 as "Kaos 25" and A34-009 as "Kaos 26" both completed airwork at Miles Airport while on flights out of and back to RAAF Base Amberley.
