Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing B737-7ES / E-7A Wedgetail A30-002 "Wedgetail 12" Completes Airwork at Rockhampton Airport

On Friday 28 November, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing B737-7ES / E-7A Wedgetail Airborne Early Warning & Control (AEW&C) aircraftA30-002 as "Wedgetail 12" flew up from RAAF Base Williamtown to complete a missed approach at the Sunshine Coast and then fly up to Rockhampton Airport where it was spotted completing another missed approach.



The Wedgetail then flew back down to land at RAAF Base Amberley before later departing back to Williamtown via more airwork at Tamworth.

At around the same time, fellow RAAF E-7A Wedgetail A30-001 as "Mitchel 41" flew out of Townsville and completed a sortie to the West.
