On Monday 14 November, a pair of SAAB 340s operated into Emerald Airport - one flew via Middlemound Airport, and the other via Hervey Bay. These aircraft were VH-EKD and VH-OLM.
The regular existing SAAB 340 charters between Brisbane and Emerald on a Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning are continuing to operate - mostly with VH-EKD.
Other additional flights to Emerald Airport have also seemed to have started on a Thursday and Friday. As posted last Thursday 10 November, Metro 23 VH-KAN was spotted at Emerald Airport - this charter was believed to have operated from Brisbane to Emerald, via Middlemount, and back to Brisbane.
The Friday flight operated last week direct Brisbane to Emerald return.
