A Week of Virgin Australia Embraer E-190 Jets at Gladstone Airport

As we have reported and advised through our Facebook and Twitter feeds, Virgin Australia have been supplementing several of their Gladstone flights over the last week with Embraer E-190 jets.  On some days, as many as three of their Brisbane services have been operated by an E-190, and fortunately for us, Jamie C has been on hand to capture the arrival of most of these into Gladstone.

As we posted last Friday 14 September, E-190 VH-ZPQ operated two return flight into Gladstone from Brisbane - VOZ1711/1712/1713/1714.

VH-ZPQ then returned to Gladstone on Wednesday 19 September, operating three times from Brisbane.

On Thursday 20 September, E-190 VH-ZPG (in old Virgin Blue colours!) also operated into Gladstone Airport three times during the day from Brisbane.

On Friday 21 September, VH-ZPM operated the early morning VOZ1709/1710 service.

Meanwhile, later on Friday 21 September, VH-ZPR operated into Gladstone Airport as VOZ1715/1716.

Lastly, on Saturday 22 September, E-190 VH-ZPM returned to Gladstone as VOZ1711/1712 from and back to Brisbane.

What a great week of jet action at Gladstone - let's hope for more this week!!
