Another Day Another Virgin Australia Boeing B737-800 - VH-YFQ - at Gladstone Airport

Another great day was had by local plane spotter Michael F at Gladstone Airport on Sunday 22 December with another Virgin Australia Boeing B737-800 VH-YFQ touching down in the industrial city on a scheduled service from Brisbane.

VH-YFQ touched down from Brisbane shortly before midday as VOZ1711.

No doubt the big jet (for Gladstone!) was again utilized to cater for the increased passenger numbers during the busy Christmas period - and with parking at a premium, VH-YFQ was forced to wait for its parking to be become available.

VH-YFQ eventually departed Gladstone returning to Brisbane as VOZ1714.

A great weekend of plane spotting at Gladstone Airport - and we sincerely thank Michael for sending through his great photos from Sunday!  (Oh, and we hope the sunburn heals quickly too!!)
