Around two weeks after emerging from a prolonged period of maintenance, Alliance Airlines Fokker F-70 VH-QQV operated its first flight into Central Queensland on Tuesday 3 December, flying into Gladstone Airport on a Fly-in Fly-out (FIFO) charter flight as UTY654.
VH-QQV is latest F-70 to fly for Alliance. It has been in the Alliance hangar in Brisbane since it was delivered to airline as YR-KMB.
Also touching down at Gladstone Airport late on Tuesday 3 December was Alliance F-100 VH-XWS, which was also operating a FIFO charter flight but as UTY650.

Both Fokkers stayed overnight, with VH-XWS departing early on Wednesday 4 December as UTY651 and VH-QQV also back to Brisbane but as UTY655.
Meanwhile, out at Emerald Airport, Alliance Fokker F-70 VH-QQX touched down operating a FIFO charter flight from Brisbane late on Tuesday 3 December as UTY652. It too departed back to Brisbane early on Wednesday but as UTY653.
