Friday 24 January turned out to be another spectacular day for plane spotting at Gladstone Airport with several interesting aircraft and helicopters arriving into the industrial city during the day. In this part, we feature the two bizjets to arrive during the day - and the first to arrive early in the morning was Conoco Phillips-operated Gulfstream G550 (GV-SP) N662CP.
N662CP touched down from Brisbane, and was parked on the Gladstone Airport apron during the morning.
Local plane spotters Jamie C and Tash C had great delight capturing some stunning images as N662CP departed back to Brisbane in the early afternoon.
N662CP reportedly departed Brisbane later in the day for overseas. Certainly a great visitor to Central Queensland!
Meanwhile, later on Friday 24 January, another bizjet touched down at Gladstone in the form of Mackay-based Raytheon 390 Premier 1 N7088S.
The sleek little local bizjet arrived from Mackay, and taxied down to the far-Western corner of the Gladstone Airport apron.
At the time of writing, N7088S remains parked at Gladstone Airport.
Stay tuned to the CQ Plane Spotting for more great images from 'Fabulous Friday' at Gladstone Airport!
