More Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Aircraft Training at Rockhampton Airport - Boeing C-17A Globemaster III A41-210

Two more Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) aircraft have been spotted performing training flights into Rockhampton Airport on Wednesday 8 January.  Local plane spotter 'IAD' was on hand to capture some stunning images as RAAF Boeing C-17A Globemaster III transport A41-210 conducted a missed approach onto Rockhampton's Runway 15.

After flying into the low cloud over Rocky, A41-210 - flying as "Stallion 11" - noted to be heading out West towards Emerald.

Shortly after the C-17, a RAAF Boeing B737-7ES / E-7A Wedgetail Airborne Early Warning & Control (AEW&C) aircraft - believed to be A30-002 - flying as "Wedgetail 1" - also conducted a missed approach at Rockhampton.  It was heard to be flying South.

Some great photos from 'IAD' on what seems to be a dreary day at Rocky.

Thanks mate!
