Making a surprise and welcome visit to Gladstone Airport on Sunday 2 February was Virgin Australia Boeing B737-800 VH-YFE.
VH-YFE was captured by Gladstone plane spotter Michael F as it touched down on a scheduled service from Brisbane as VOZ1711.
It is suspected that the larger B737-800 may have been operated into Gladstone as one of the Virgin Australia Regional Airlines (VARA) ATR 72 aircraft - VH-FVM shown below - has seemingly broken down.
VH-YFE eventually departed back to Brisbane as VOZ1714.
Some truly stunning images from Michael - and we sincerely thank him for capturing them and sending them through!

Not broken down. Just on a long stopover. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Emma!
ReplyDeleteAn unusually long lay-over then - and a very welcome visitor!
Thanks for the post!
