Bombardier Global 6000 Bizjet N60XC Departs Hamilton Island Airport

The sleek Bombardier BD-700-1A10 Global 6000 bizjet N60XC that called into Hamilton Island Airport over the weekend departed to Brisbane early on Monday 9 March.

Emerald-based aviator Ben DV happened to be on Hamo over the weekend and captured a couple of nice photos of the Global 6000 as it was parked on the Hamo Airport apron.  He also captured a couple of other comings and goings at Hamo including Jetstar Airways Airbus A320 VH-VGV arriving from Sydney and a couple of the helicopters that operate from the Airport around Hamilton Island and the nearby islands in the Whitsundays.

Meanwhile, another visitor into Hamilton Island over the weekend was Victorian-based Piper PA-32RT-300 VH-MSX.

The Lance II was snapped passing through Gladstone Airport on Saturday 7 March while on its way North to Hamilton Island.

Thanks to Ben and Gladstone plane spotter Jamie C for sending through these great photos!
