Flight tracking website Flightaware indicates that the Caravan called in from Middlemount, and was actually expected to fly into Bundaberg. It was operating the weekly Fly-in Fly-out (FIFO) charter flight from the Fraser Coast to Middlemount.
After a short time, VH-LMZ then departed to Maryborough.
