Australian Army Boeing CH-47F 'Foxtrot' Chinook Helicopters A15-301 & A15-302 "Fatboy" Pass Through Rockhampton Airport

On Monday 1 August, a nice a pair of Australian Army Boeing CH-47F 'Foxtrot' Chinook helicopters - A15-301 and A15-302 - were spotted passing through Rockhampton Airport by local plane spotters Trevor H and Kayanne H.

The two twin-engine, tandem rotor heavy-lift helicopters arrived from Townsville and were noted using the formation callsign of "Fatboy".

After taking on fuel, both Chinooks continued South to RAAF Base Amberley again as "Fatboy".
