Balmoral Air Dassault Falcon 2000LX Bizjet VH-WIO at Hamilton Island Airport Yet Again - Plus a Couple of Qantas Charter Flights!

On Monday 15 May, making yet another day trip into Hamilton Island Airport, was Balmoral Air Dassault Falcon 2000LX bizjet VH-WIO.  As per usual, it touched down from Bankstown and was noted returning there later in the day.

Meanwhile, a corporate helicopter that has passed through parts of Central Queensland continues to fly North, passing through Hamilton Island Airport over the weekend.  As mentioned below, Parklea (Air Services) (of Victoria) Agusta AW109SP helicopter VH-CZT had touched down at Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) Airport from the Sunshine Coast on Friday 12 May and then on Saturday 13 May, it arrived into Hamilton Island Airport from Hervey Bay via Gladstone Airport.

On Monday 15 May, VH-CZT was noted departing Hamo for Townsville.

Finally, over recent days, Qantas Airways was noted operated an inbound and outbound charter flight into Hamilton Island Airport from and back to Sydney.  On Friday 12 May, Boeing B737-838 VH-VZT operated an additional Sydney to Hamilton Island sector as QF1360 before it then positioned back to Sydney as QF6100.  While on Sunday 14 May, Boeing B737-838 VH-VXA positioned empty from Brisbane to Hamilton Island as QF6101 before it then operated an additional Hamilton Island to Sydney sector as QF1361.
