Professional Jet Aviation Cessna 525 Citation CJ1 Bizjet VH-CDG Pops into Hamilton Island Airport - Plus More!

On Tuesday 19 June, Professional Jet Aviation Cessna 525 Citation CJ1 bizjet VH-CDG was noted arriving into Hamilton Island Airport from Cairns.  It looked to arrive there from its Gold Coast base the previous day.

After a couple of hours on the ground, VH-CDG departed to the Gold Coast.

Meanwhile, last Friday 15 June, Pilatus PC-12/47 VH-DNG of "Bullawarrie" in Mungindi in New South Wales was also noted arriving into Hamilton Island Airport from Moree and Brisbane.  It returned to Brisbane and Moree on Monday 18 June.

Also on the lighter side of General Aviation (GA) movements around CQ Airport in recent days, FlightTech Air Logistics / Townsville Airlines AeroCommander 500-S VH-WZQ was noted flying from Cairns to Melbourne (Essendon) via Mackay Airport and other stops over the course of Friday 15 June to Sunday 17 June.

While also at Mackay Airport but on Tuesday 19 June, Piper PA-31-350 Navajo VH-TTX popped in from Bowen Airport.  It later departed to its Toowoomba base.

Finally, on Monday 18 June down at Bundaberg Airport, Easternwell Raytheon B200 King Air VH-EWG was believed to have made a brief visit.
