On Friday 29 May, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing B737-7ES / E-7A Wedgetail Airborne Early Warning & Control (AEW&C) aircraft A30-006 was noted completing a missed approach at Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) Airport.

A30-006 was flying as "Mitchel 12" and flew up to the Fraser Coast from RAAF Base Williamtown. After completing the airwork at Hervey Bay Airport, the Wedgetail departed back to Williamtown.
