Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing C-17A Globemaster III A41-209 "Stallion 63" Pops into Rockhampton Airport

On Monday 22 June, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing C-17A Globemaster III A41-209 was spotted on the ground at Rockhampton Airport.  It was heard to be using the radio callsign of "Stallion 63" and flew up from RAAF Base Amberley.


A41-209 initially completed a missed approach before coming back around and landing at Rockhampton Airport.  It parked on Gate 6 on the Southern end of the parking apron for a short time before taxiing back out and departing back to Amberley.


Meanwhile, also on Monday 22 June, fellow RAAF Beech B350 Super King Air A32-437 as "Beaufort 25" landed at Roma Airport after flying up from RAAF Base East Sale in Victoria.  It later departed to Townsville.
