It is unclear the reason for the visit - perhaps just simply a closed charter flight.

UPDATE!  On Sunday 11 October, VH-YWV returned to Longreach Airport, again arriving from and later departing back to Townsville, again as HT707/708.

UPDATE!  Also on Sunday 11 October, Link Airways (Corporate Air / Vee H Aviation) SAAB 340B VH-VEF was noted departing Longreach Airport for Brisbane.  While Link Airways Metro 23 VH-VET was noted visiting Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) Airport from Brisbane also on Sunday 11 October.

Meanwhile, also on Saturday 10 October, Toowoomba-based Cessna 208 Caravan VH-MMV was noted departing Longreach Airport for Townsville.  It had arrived the previous day from Gympie.
