FlyPelican (Pelican Airlines) BAe J32 VH-OTQ Returns to Rockhampton Airport Again on FIFO Charter Flight - Plus More!

On Tuesday 6 October, FlyPelican (Pelican Airlines) British Aerospace BAe Jetstream 3206 (Jetstream 32) turboprop aircraft VH-OTQ was back in Central Queensland and was noted flying into Rockhampton Airport from Newcastle (Williamtown) as PE999.

It looked to be completing, again, another Fly-in Fly-out (FIFO) charter flight from Rocky to Julia Creek with it departing there a short time later as PE998.

It appears that (at the time of writing) on Wednesday 7 October, VH-OTQ will fly from Julia Creek to Hughenden before then returning to Williamtown as PE999.

Meanwhile, also on Tuesday 6 October, Townsville Airlines Beech 1900D VH-RUE was noted visiting Rockhampton and Mackay Airports while on a busy day of flying out of and back to Cairns all the way down to Brisbane.  Possibly, again, VH-RUE is completing flights on behalf of the Queensland Police Service.

Great Western Aviation Beech B200 VH-XGV made its weekly visit to my local Clermont Aerodrome also on Tuesday 6 October.  It arrived from and later departing back to Brisbane.

While also on Tuesday 6 October, Clive Palmer's Mineralogy Company Agusta A119 'Koala' helicopter VH-KOL looked to fly down from Hamilton Island Airport to the Gold Coast via Gladstone and Mackay Airports.  It looks to have spent the last week or so flying around Northern and Western parts of Queensland.

Finally, also on Tuesday 6 October, the visiting Gulf Coast Aviation Cessna 510 Citation Mustang bizjet VH-KXM was noted departing Rockhampton Airport for Maramie (Dorunda) and Cairns.  It had arrived into Rocky from Dorunda via Mareeba on Saturday 3 October.

And another familiar bizjet in the form of Corporate Aircraft Charter (South Australia) Cessna 550 Citation II bizjet VH-ZLE was noted visiting Bundaberg Airport from Brisbane also on Tuesday 6 October.
