Also on Wednesday 16 December, locally-based Embraer EMB-550 Legacy 500 bizjet N142GZ departed Mackay Airport for Port Macquarie in New South Wales.

UPDATE!  On Friday 18 December, N142GZ returned to Mackay Airport from Port Macquarie.

Meanwhile, also on Wednesday 16 December, there was a little 'shuffle' of Hinterland Aviation Cessna 208 Caravan aircraft to be based at Rockhampton Airport with VH-NDC swapping 'out' and VH-MRZ swapping 'in' during their respective visits from Rocky and Townsville to the Labona Station Airstrip within Adani Australia's (Bravus Mining & Resources) Carmichael Coal Mine site.

And another Cessna 208 in the form of Central Highlands Aerial Services (CHAS) Caravan VH-LMZ flew across from Emerald Airport to land at Rockhampton Airport for some time before it then departed to Toowoomba and Orange in New South Wales.

Finally, also on Wednesday 16 December, Sundown Pastoral Company (of Bonogin in the Gold Coast Hinterland) Raytheon B300 Super King Air VH-NSI was back in Central Queensland, flying into Emerald Airport from the Gold Coast before continuing up to Pinnarendi (YPNA).  VH-NSI then returned to the Gold Coast but via Bundaberg Airport.

And Brescon (Toowoomba) Beech B200 King Air VH-WXN landed at my local Clermont Aerodrome from Toowoomba-Wellcamp.  It is due to depart back there early on Thursday 17 December.
