Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing B737-7ES / E-7A Wedgetail A30-002 Missed Approach at Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) Airport

On Friday 6 May, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing B737-7ES / E-7A Wedgetail Airborne Early Warning & Control (AEW&C) aircraft A30-002 was noted completing a missed approach at Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) Airport.

A30-002 was flying as "Wedgetail 14" and looked to fly up from RAAF Base Williamtown near Newcastle in New South Wales, to Hervey Bay where it then completed its airwork.  A30-002 then returned South to complete another missed approach at Tamworth before then returning to Williamtown.

Meanwhile, also on Friday 6 May, RAAF beech B350 Super King Air A32-675 "Ausy 571" landed at Roma Airport from RAAF Base East Sale before it then continued up to Townsville.
