American Registered Gulfstream Aerospace G650 (G-VI) Bizjet N686GD Calls into Hamilton Island - Plus More!

On Sunday 20 November, American-registered Gulfstream Aerospace G650 (G-VI) bizjet N686GD was noted arriving into Hamilton Island Airport from Brisbane.  It then flew back to Brisbane.

Later, N686GD departed Brisbane and returned once again to Hamilton Island Airport where this time, it appears to be staying.

UPDATE!  On Wednesday 23 November, N686GD departed Hamilton Island Airport for Perth.

While locally-based Embraer EMB-550 Legacy 500 bizjet N142GZ looked to depart its Mackay Airport base for the Gold Coast.

UPDATE!  On Wednesday 23 November, N142GZ returned to Mackay Airport from the Gold Coast.

And LifeFlight (Aeromed) Bombardier Challenger 604 bizjet VH-URR "Ambulance 604" arrived into Rockhampton Airport from Townsville and Cairns before then departing to Brisbane.  It later flew up from Brisbane to Bundaberg Airport before returning to Townsville.

Meanwhile, also on Sunday 20 November, Agair Logistics P/L Gulfstream Aerospace (AeroCommander) 695-A JetProp 1000 VH-LMC as "Birddog 125" departed Bundaberg Airport for Toowoomba.  It later returned to Bundy.

And New South Wales-based Piper PA-28RT-201T VH-NJK looked to depart Barcaldine Airport for Camden, near Sydney.  It appears to have flown into Barci on Thursday 17 November, flying up Camden via Orange.

Finally, also on Sunday 20 November, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Search and Rescue (CHC Helicopters Australia / Lloyd Helicopters) Agusta AW139 helicopter VH-SYJ as "Choppa 22" arrived into Rockhampton Airport from RAAF Base Williamtown and RAAF Base Amberley. 

It is assumed that VH-SYJ "Choppa 22" has flown into Rockhampton Airport to provide support for the upcoming RAAF Exercise Rogue Ambush 2022 which will kick off this coming week from RAAF Base Amberley and feature fast-jet flying activity with the Shoalwater Bay Training Area (SWBTA).
