On Thursday 3 August, the visiting Indonesian Air Force / Tentara Nasional Indonesia Angkatan Udara (TNI-AU) Lockheed L-100-30 (C-130H) Hercules A-1328, which arrived from Townsville the previous day, made a lovely early morning departure from Rockhampton Airport.
It was heard to again use the radio callsign of "Herky 01" and looked to fly down to RAAF Base Richmond where it has been flying out of for much of the joint military Exercise Talisman Sabre 2023 (TS23).
Meanwhile, also on Thursday 3 August, Royal New Zealand Air Force (RNZAF) Lockheed C-130H Hercules NZ7005 as "Kiwi 369" flew down from Townsville to complete a touch-and-go approach at Gladstone Airport before it then continued onwards to RAAF Base Amberley.
And United States Air Force (USAF) Lockheed MC-130J Commando II Hercules aircraft 20-5946 was noted making a late visit to Proserpine (Whitsunday Coast) Airport.
