A Few Australian Bizjets Call into Hamilton Island Airport over Easter

Over the last few days I've noted a few Australian-based bizjets have called into Hamilton Island Airport.  What a nice 'getaway' that would be!

Recently re-registered Bombardier CL-600-2B16 Challenger 604 bizjet VH-BLM touched down from the Gold Coast on Sunday 5 April.  It is now operated by Business Aviation Solutions.

Another bizjet operated by the Gold Coast-based Business Aviation Solutions in the form of Cessna 650 Citation VII VH-DHN made an early morning visit to Hamo on Saturday 4 April.  It called in from the Gold Coast and shortly after, departed to Sydney.

On Friday 3 April, CML Aviation Hawker Beechcraft Hawker 900XP bizjet VH-NKD touched down at Hamilton Island.  Unfortunately, its exact movements are not known and it is unknown if it departed or is still parked at Hamo.

Shortstop Jet Charter British Aerospace BAe-125-1000B VH-LMP continues to make regular visits to Hamilton Island, this week it departed to Melbourne (Essendon) on Wednesday 1 April and returning to Hamo from there on Friday 3 April.

Meanwhile, a couple of notable turbo-prop visitors to Hamilton Island this week included Victorian-based Rockwell 690-B which called in from Charleville and Stawell on Monday 30 March.  It departed directly back to Stawell on Friday 3 April.

Also Redjet Aviation Piper PA-31 Navajo VH-PJU popped in for a couple of hours from its Toowoomba base on Friday 3 April.

Finally, the visiting Malaysian-based Diamond DA42-VI Twin Star 9M-MDI departed Hamilton Island on Sunday 29 March for Cairns.
