We're Taking a Break... To do Some Plane Spotting at the Rydges Sydney Airport Hotel!

Over the Easter long weekend, we are taking a bit of a break after a busy couple of weeks at work and keeping you all updated with the numerous movements and news from Airports around Central Queensland.  We're off to Sydney for a couple of days before we head to Victoria for a few days - including Melbourne - and then finishing with a few days over on Hamilton Island.

While at Sydney, we are staying at the fantastic Rydges Sydney Airport Hotel which is located near the International terminal  As these photos - captured by Sydney plane spotter Bernie P, and shared by the Rydges Sydney Airport Hotel - show, the Hotel viewing deck offers stunning views over the International terminal parking aprons and further to the Domestic terminal.

And what is even better about the Rydges is that they have recently announced the introduction of an ANNUAL PLANE SPOTTER PASS!

The Hotel will now be selling annual plane spotter passes. This pass gives spotters unlimited access to their viewing deck when it is available to the public.  Spotters will need to keep an eye on their Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/RydgesSydneyAirportHotel/) for regular updates on availability.

How much? Only $120!  Alternatively, spotters can visit anytime at the normal daily rate of $10.

The 318-room Rydges Sydney Airport Hotel also has "Plane Spotter" accommodation packages that include great views from your room at the Hotel.
