Alliance Airlines to Start Passenger Flights from Emerald Airport to Brisbane

The CQ News newspaper has reported on Wednesday 1 April that Alliance Airlines will launch three-times-a-week passenger flights into Emerald Airport from Brisbane.

Flights will commence on Monday 13 April.

As we've posted in recent weeks, Alliance have commenced flying into Emerald from Brisbane on contracted Fly-in Fly-out (FIFO) flights for local mining companies.  But the remaining seats on the Fokker F-70 jets are being made available to the public.

Flights will leave Brisbane at 5.30am on Monday mornings, arriving in Emerald at about 7am, then returning to Brisbane at 7.30am.  On Thursday and Friday afternoons a flight will leave Brisbane at 4pm and arrive at about 5.30pm, leaving Emerald at about 6pm to go back to Brisbane.

Seems perfect timings for a long weekend in Brisbane!
