Seair Pacific Cessna 208 Caravans Operate FIFO Flights to Wanella Station and Rolleston Aerodrome

It's been interesting to note that in recent days, a pair of Seair Pacific (Istlecote) Cessna 208 Caravan turbo-props have operated Fly-in Fly-out (FIFO) charter flights between the Fraser Coast and Wanella Station (near Coppabella) as well as Rolleston Aerodrome.

On Thursday 4 February, VH-VCW (pictured above) flew into Wanella from Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) Airport before continuing to Rolleston.  From Rolleston, VH-VCW continued to Maryborough.

Then on Monday 8 February, VH-LYT flew into Rolleston from Maryborough before flying to Wanella.  From Wanella, VH-LYT continued to Hervey Bay.

Meanwhile, Seair Cessna 208 Caravan turbo-props continue to fly into Theodore Aerodrome on FIFO charter flights from the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane.

They operate almost daily FIFO charter flights to Theodore from Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast, reportedly under contract by Australian gold company, Evolution Mining, for its workforce at the nearby Cracow Mine.
