VH-ZLH operated as PFY9389/9388 while VH-ZLC operated as PFY9391/9390. Both aircraft flew Cairns to Mackay to Cairns and were believed to have carried the PNG Hunters Rugby League team to play the local Mackay Cutters in the Queensland Rugby League (QRL) competition.
Meanwhile, also on Saturday 2 April, Cairns-based Cessna 206 VH-SQX also visited Mackay Airport, operating from and back to Innisfail.
Aerorescue (AMSA - Australian Maritime Safety Authority) / Aero Pearl Dornier 328-100 VH-PPV "Rescue 441" is believed to have called into Mackay Airport from its Cairns base twice in recent days supporting operations conducted by the locally-based Central Queensland Rescue Helicopter Service (CQ Rescue) Bell 412EP VH-CQJ "Rescue 412".

VH-PPV was noted departing Mackay Airport on Wednesday 30 March, and it was expected to call back in on Friday 1 April.
Finally, also on Wednesday 30 March a nice pair of King Air turboprops were noted calling into Mackay Airport with Hawker Beechcraft C90GTi King Air VH-JJU visiting from its Cloncurry base, while McDermott Aviation Group / Machjet International Beech B200 King Air VH-MWZ called in from its Sunshine Coast base.
