Pionair Australia British Aerospace BAe-146-200 VH-SAZ Pops into Roma and Miles Airports

One of two wonderful surprise visitors to Central Queensland on Friday 24 August was Pionair Australia British Aerospace BAe-146-200 VH-SAZ.

The passenger-configured aircraft - which has previously been noted operating closed charter flights around Australia - touched down at Roma Airport directly from its Bankstown base as 'SFZ601' / "Skyforce 601".

VH-SAZ then departed Roma Airport for Brisbane before departing again and flying into Miles Airport.

It then returned to Brisbane before flying back South to Bankstown.

From Facebook, information suggests that these were closed charter flights and I for one hope these are a pre-cursor of flights to come!
