Babcock Offshore Services Sikorsky S-92A Helicopter VH-NWV Ferries Through Longreach Airport to Brisbane

On Saturday 1 December, Babcock Offshore Services (ex Bond Helicopters) Sikorsky S-92A helicopter VH-NWV was noted arriving into Longreach Airport from Mount Isa while on a ferry flight from Truscott in Western Australia to Brisbane.

It was photographed on Sunday 2 December preparing for departure from Longreach Airport to the Helitek Facility on the Brisbane River where it will undergo planned maintenance.

Of interest, it appears that VH-NWV had been operating out of Truscott and completing return flights to the Montara Venture Floating (Oil) Production Storage and Offloading facility which is located in the Timor Sea.

Of interest, Bond Helicopters Australia was absorbed under the umbrella of Babcock Offshore Services Australasia in 2016.
