On
Tuesday 12 September, a pair of Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing B737-7ES / E-7A Wedgetail Airborne Early Warning & Control (AEW&C) aircraft were both noted completing airwork at a couple of Central Queensland Airports during separate visits.

Firstly, A30-001 as "Wedgetail 12" flew up from RAAF Base Williamtown to complete a missed approach at Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) Airport and then Townsville before it then flew back South.
Around the same time, A30-004 as "Wedgetail 04" also came up from Williamtown to RAAF Base Amberley and then to complete a missed approach at Emerald Airport. It then returned back South.
Nice!
