Cessna Citation Bizjets VH-ANE at Mackay Airport and VH-KXL at Biloela / Thangool Airport

Celijet Aviation Solutions Cessna 525B Citation CJ3 VH-ANE popped into Mackay Airport on Wednesday 19 June.  The little bizjet arrived early from Narrandera, and departed back there later in the day.

Meanwhile, on Tuesday 18 June, there was an air and sea search for a missing boat that brought some interesting aircraft to the Mackay region.  Aerorescue (AMSA - Australian Maritime Safety Authority) Dornier 328-100 VH-PPV - which is operated by Aero Pearl - was noted flying off Mackay.  VH-PPV was flying as "Rescue 441" and appeared to take-off and land at its Cairns base.

Also involved in the search were Central Queensland (CQ) Rescue Helicopter Service Bell 412 VH-NSV and  the Rockhampton-based Capricorn Helicopter Rescue Service Sikorsky S-76A helicopter VH-JRD.

Meanwhile, Edwards Coaches Cessna 525 Citation CJ1 bizjet VH-KXL popped in and out of Biloela/Thangool Airport twice over the course of Tuesday 18 June and Wednesday 19 June.

Over the two days, VH-KXL flew Armidale - Thangool - Scone - Armidale - Scone - Thangool - Armildale.
