Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Canadair CL-600-2B16 Challenger 604 bizjet A37-002, which is operated by the VIP 34 Squadron in Canberra, popped into Gladstone Airport on Friday 21 June.
Local plane spotters, Jamie C and Tash C were on hand and captured a fantastic selection of photos of the Challenger arriving and then parked on the lower apron at Gladstone Airport.
A little while later, A37-002 departed for the South. It was heard to be using the radio callsign of "Envoy 15".
Sincere thanks to Jamie C and Tash C for the great coverage of such a fantastic visitor to the port city!
