Helicopters at Rockhampton Airport Monday - Army MRH-90 A40-001 and EMQ Bell 412 VH-ESB

Local plane spotter Kayanne H called into Rockhampton Airport on Monday 10 November and captured some great photos of a couple of interesting visiting helicopters.

Australian Army NH Industries MRH-90 Multi-Role Helicopter A40-001 called in from the North.

It was heard to later depart further south using the radio callsign of "Destria 01".

Around the same time, Emergency Management Queensland (EMQ) (State of Queensland) Bell 412EP VH-ESB  also called into Rockhampton Airport from Mackay.

The Townsville-based rescue chopper continued South to Archerfield where it is believed it will undergo planned maintenance.

Finally, Stirling Helicopters (of Theodore) recently acquired Aerospatiale AS.350BA VH-HBZ was also spotted by Kayanne calling in from Mount Morgan.

Sincere thanks to Kayanne for capturing and sending through these great photos!
