New Tigerair (Tiger Airways) Australia Airbus A320-200(WL) VH-XUH First Visit to CQ at Proserpine Airport

Tigerair (Tiger Airways) Australia Airbus A320-200(WL) VH-XUH has made its first visit to Central Queensland, calling into Proserpine (Whitsunday Coast) Airport on Monday 5 October.

VH-XUH at Cairns Airport recently

VH-XUH was delivered to Tigerair in Melbourne in late August and is the first A320 in the Tigerair fleet to feature blended winglets - or sharklets.

Meanwhile, another special A320 with sharklets - and attractive promotional colour scheme - in the form of Jetstar Airways Airbus A320 VH-VFL - which is currently wearing an attractive 'Little Athletics' livery - also popped into Proserpine / Whitsunday Coast Airport but on Sunday 4 October.  It operated from and back to Brisbane as JST830/833.

Finally, Careflight Queensland (Aeromed) LearJet 45 VH-CXJ was noted calling into Proserpine very late on Saturday 3 October.  Soon after, it departed to Townsville.  It was again noted to be using its usual radio callsign of "Ambulance 452".

VH-CXJ was the second bizjet noted at Prosie with - as we've posted below - Business Aviation Solutions Cessna 650 Citation VII bizjet VH-DHN parking at Prosie while its passengers were on Hamilton Island.
