A Couple of Locally-based Helicopters at Rockhampton Airport on Power-line Inspections

After a line of severe storms passed through Rockhampton - and other parts of Central Queensland - late on the previous day, on Wednesday 13 March, a couple of nice locally-based helicopters passed through Rockhampton Airport as they looked to complete power-line inspections.

Believed to be Mackay-based Eurocopter AS 350 B3 Squirrel VH-XBO arrived into Rocky before it then departed on an inspection flight.

Also noted completing inspection flights out of Rockhampton Airport was Stirling Helicopters (Stirling Consolidated) / Eagle Copters Leasing Bell Helicopter Textron Canada 407 VH-IBF.

Finally, Townsville-based NQ Heli-Worx (Meridan Helicopters) smartly presented Eurocopter EC135 T2 VH-MVY was noted flying North from Gladstone Airport.  Sistership  Aerospatiale AS350 B2 Squirrel helicopter VH-MHE was photographed below at Mackay Airport recently.
