RAAF Canadair Challenger 604 Bizjet A37-001 Calls into Mackay Airport

On Saturday 9 March, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Canadair CL-600-2B16 Challenger 604 bizjet A37-001 was noted visiting Mackay Airport.  It flew up direct from Sydney and was heard to be using the radio callsign of "Wisdom 65".

The Challenger was noted bringing Nationals Leader and Deputy Prime Minister Michael McCormack to the Sugar City for a series of engagements.

Once complete, Mr McCormack boarded the Challenger and A37-001 departed Mackay Airport and was seen heading for Wagga Wagga in New South Wales.  It then flew to Canberra.
