RAAF Boeing B737-7ES / E-7A Wedgetail A30-001 Completes a Missed Approach at Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) Airport

These are becoming semi-regular visitors to the Fraser Coast!

This time, on Wednesday 6 March, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing B737-7ES / E-7A Wedgetail Airborne Early Warning & Control (AEW&C) aircraft A30-001 was noted completing a missed approach at Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) Airport.

A30-001 was spotted on the ground at Brisbane Airport a couple of weeks ago  (File photo)

A30-001 was flying as "Wedgetail 10" and reportedly flew up to Hervey Bay direct from RAAF Base Williamtown near Newcastle in New South Wales.  After completing its airwork at Hervey Bay Airport, A30-001 returned back to Williamtown via more airwork at RAAF Base Amberley.
