On
Monday 3 April, locally-based BPW Aviation / Airspeed Aviation (of Scone in New South Wales) Beech 58 Baron VH-KCN suffered a landing gear collapse when landing at Rockhampton Airport.
It seemed to be completing a local flight and unfortunately suffered a right main landing gear collapse landing on Runway 15 at Rockhampton Airport.
The Runway was blocked for some time with flights delayed and diverted. VH-KCN was eventually removed from the Runway.
The sole occupant was transported to Rockhampton Hospital as a precaution.
