Alliance Airlines Debuts Fokker F-70 at Mackay Airport Thursday

Alliance Airlines' new Fokker F-70, VH-QQX, was flown to Mackay Airport on Thursday 27 October. The UTY1060/1061 flight from and back to Brisbane is similar to one that was operated by F-100 VH-XWM the previous weekend.


VH-QQX is one of two new F-70 aircraft that Alliance has acquired recently. It is believed that these aircraft will be used extensively in Alliance's increasing fly-in fly-out (FIFO) charter services. Hopefully we will see these quite a lot in Central Queensland!
