Virgin Australia ATR Pops into Emerald Airport Wednesday as Flight Times and Bookings for Emerald Become Available
Local media has reported that Virgin Australia planned to fly one of their Skywest-operated ATR 72-500 aircraft to Emerald Airport on Wednesday 26 October to promote their recently announced introduction of Brisbane to Emerald services commencing January 2012.
An unconfirmed report suggests their latest ATR, VH-FVL made the trip from Brisbane to Emerald.
Meanwhile, bookings have become live on the Virgin Australia website for flights between Brisbane and Emerald, with fares starting at just $69 one way. The first flight from Brisbane is scheduled for Monday 16 January 2012.
The timetable of flights between Brisbane and Emerald is as follows:
DJ1255 - departs Brisbane at 5.45am and arrived in Emerald at 7.40am
DJ1256 - departs Emerald at 8.10am and arrives in Brisbane at 9.55am
This flight operates daily except Saturday and Sunday
DJ1261 - departs Brisbane at 4.00pm and arrives in Emerald at 5.55pm
DJ1262 - departs Emerald at 6.25pm and arrives in Brisbane at 8.10pm
This flight operates daily except Saturday
