Exercise Wallaby 2016 - More Great Photos as Air New Zealand B787-9 Dreamliners ZK-NZF & ZK-NZJ Visit Rockhampton Airport on Saturday

As we posted below, the third of four 'waves' of heavy jet passenger charter flights in support of the Singapore Armed Force's Exercise Wallaby 2016 continued at Rockhampton Airport on Saturday 22 October, when Air New Zealand Boeing B787-9 Dreamliner ZK-NZF arrived back in the beef capital direct from Singapore's Changi Airport as ANZ6009.

After it positioned empty from Singapore, it returned back there later on Saturday 22 October this time as ANZ1930.

Shortly before ZK-NZF departed, fellow Air New Zealand Boeing B787-9 Dreamliner ZK-NZJ also arrived back into Rockhampton Airport touching down as ANZ1935.  As shown, it was made to wait on Taxiway Juliette before it could park on the Gate 6 on the Southern end of the apron.

ZK-NZJ also later departed back to Singapore but as ANZ1936.

As this post is being written on Sunday 23 October, ZK-NZJ is again returning to Rockhampton Airport, this time positioning empty as ANZ6001.  It will return to Singapore around 9pm on Sunday once more from Rocky before returning to Auckland some time on Monday 24 October.

Meanwhile, also on Sunday 23 October, ZK-NZF is positioning empty from Singapore back to Auckland as ANZ6007.

Sincere thanks to local plane spotters 'IAD' and Kayanne Hardsman for taking the time to capture and send through these great photos!
