RAAF Airbus A330-203 / KC-30A (MRTT) A39-001 Missed Approach at Rockhampton Airport - Plus Super King Air A32-437 at Gladstone Airport

On Tuesday 25 October, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Airbus A330-203 / KC-30A (MRTT) A39-001 was spotted completing a missed approach at Rockhampton Airport.

It flew up from RAAF Base Amberley and looked to return South after the completion of the missed approach.  It was noted using the radio callsign of "Dragon 27".

Meanwhile, also on Tuesday 25 October, RAAF Beech B350 Super King Air A32-437 was noted landing at Gladstone Airport after earlier departing Townsville.  It was noted flying as "Dingo 13" and returned to Townsville a little while later.

Sincere thanks to Jason at J.M Photography for allowing us to share this great photo of the KC-30A!
