BAE Systems Flight Training Pacific Aerospace CT/4B Airtrainer VH-YCJ at Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) Airport

On Sunday 13 November, it was interesting to note that one of the Australian Defence Force’s fleet of Pacific Aerospace CT/4B basic trainers operated by the BAE Systems Basic Flying Training School (BFTS) at Tamworth popped into Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) Airport from the Sunshine Coast.

Sister-ship VH-YCP (along with VH-YCR) visited the Old Station Fly-in in 2014  (File photo)

VH-YCJ was noted returning to the Sunshine Coast using the radio callsign of “Roller 45”

Meanwhile, also on Sunday 13 November, the Queensland Government (State of Queensland) Raytheon B300 Super King Air VH-SGQ also made a visit to Hervey Bay Airport, calling from and later departing back to Brisbane.
