Gulf Coast Aviation Cessna 510 Citation Mustang Bizjet VH-KXM Passes Through Longreach Airport heading to Bankstown

After spending the previous week flying around the far North of this great state, Gulf Coast Aviation Cessna 510 Citation Mustang bizjet VH- KXM has returned South to Bankstown on Friday 4 November.  It departed Vanrook Station near Normanton and called into Longreach Airport for fuel before continuing South.

Meanwhile, over the course of this week, there has been some interesting corporate turboprops noted visiting the Central West including the Queensland Government (State of Queensland) Raytheon B300 Super King Air VH-SGQ which seems to have been using Longreach Airport as a base over the last week flying to various small towns and back.  On Wednesday 2 November, VH-SGQ departed Longreach returning direct to Brisbane.

Also on Wednesday 2 November, Brisbane-based Pilatus PC-12/47E VH-AAD arrived into Longreach Airport from Archerfield and later departed to Brunette Downs (Northern Territory).

While Cessna 208B Caravan VH-DJG departed for Dalby and Archerfield after arriving from these places the previous day.

On Monday 31 October, Brisbane-based Pilatus PC-12/47E VH-VTF called into Longreach Airport from Archerfield and later departed to Mount Isa.  It has since returned to Longreach Airport heading home with it noted to be departing for Archerfield on Friday 4 November.

Finally, General Aviation Maintenance (GAM) completed a swap of the AeroCommander 500-S operating the week-daily freight flight from Emerald Airport to Barcaldine and Longreach with VH-YJS noted to be operating the run on Monday 31 October.
